License Information – Kompasounds.com
The samples, synth presets, audio files, and software hosted and sold at Kompasounds.com are protected by International Copyright ©2025. Purchasers are licensed to use these sounds royalty-free in commercial music productions. You must purchase these libraries to obtain a legal license for use in professional or personal work.
Terms and Conditions
- All samples, loops, and sound packs provided by Kompasounds are royalty-free.
- These audio files are licensed—not sold—for use in your software or hardware.
- Licenses are granted only to the original buyer and are non-transferable.
- You may not resell, re-license, or distribute the sounds in any form.
- You may edit, modify, and use the sounds for commercial purposes in musical compositions.
- Kompasounds is not responsible for unmet needs or indirect losses from the use of these sounds.
- Use the sounds only in the formats provided by Kompasounds.com.
- Sounds may not be used in isolation in any music or audio/visual work.
- For any other usage, a separate license is required.
- Purchasing or downloading any product binds you to these terms and conditions.
- Unauthorized use or duplication of any Kompasounds product violates copyright laws and will be pursued legally.
Master Clearance & Sample Clearance
By paying the applicable license fee, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual right to use the sample(s) in combination with other sounds in your music productions to create new recordings (“Derivative Works”) under the United States Copyright Act.
You may:
- Modify, reproduce, and distribute the sample as part of your new recording.
- Use it for commercial purposes (under specific conditions).
You may not:
- Use or distribute samples in isolation.
- Use samples in a competing product (e.g., other sample packs).
- Sell or sublicense the samples separately.
- Use any artist name, image, or likeness without written permission.
Usage Types

Minor Releases:
You may use samples in independent projects, beat tapes, or mix tapes, as long as they are not released through a Major Label (Sony, UMG, WEA) or Large Indie Label (Empire, 300, E1). No further payment is required. -
Major Releases:
If your project is:
- Released via a Major Label/Large Indie Label, or
- Exceeds 1 million streams on Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube,
You must:
- Contact Kompasounds for clearance.
- Provide a 50/50 split on advances, royalties, and publishing.
- Provide Co-Producer credit in all media formats.
Delivery and Refund Policy
After payment, you will be directed to a download page. If issues arise, contact us at kompasounds@outlook.com.
All purchases are non-refundable, as you are buying a royalty-free license to use the digital product, which cannot be returned.
